Hi all,

how do you evaluate a Poker game based on the rake?
Of course, this is by far not the only thing to look out for, but what are "good" rake structures for different game and what would you consider too high?

I am planning on a long poker trip throughout Europe and trying to get a handle on different rake structures.

Games:

Limit HE, at 10-20 to 30-60
PLO 2-5
Stud limit or spread limit 10-20 to 30-60
PLHE 2-5
NLHE 2-5

I know there are many factors that make a game profitable or not, like player lineup and stack sizes (esp. in big bet) but give me a general guideline, please.

Greets, Erd.

The formula I usually use is:

the lower the rake, the better.
