10/20 6max,

loose CO open limp. and I have K8s on the button. What should I do if the blinds are
a) tight
b) loose
c) unknown

I guess CO's postflop style is important too, so lets say hes aggressive, but makes reasonable plays.

If you had K9o, is the answer much different?

K8s I will usually fold if there is a limper. If he is really loose, and bad, and the blinds are pretty tight, I will raise it though.

K9s I usually raise against most limpers and most blinds.

K9o is an insta-fold.

I raise this pretty often against CO open limpers. of course the usual 'it depends' factors apply

Yeah, I guess I raise CO open limpers sometimes too. IMO, those are a different breed from regular limpers IMO.

Edit: I didn't realize he said the limper was in the CO in the original post.

I fold unless all 3 potential villains are tighties postflop.

I raise this in all situations without a second thought. I don't raise K9o if they are loose. I'll usually limp it then.

hm i guess this is the borderline situation for some pepole.

i think with loose blinds though I would prefer limping.

i mainly asked this b/c i routinely limp with hands like 97s and 76s here. But when this situation came up, i folded. something didnt seem right.

i admit though im still surpriesd that its such a clear raise with loose blinds.

i guess i need to re think my isolation standards.

i also found this thread concerning iso raising for people who are interested. http://tinyurl.com/bkqgg

I changed my mind. I don't raise any of them. I'll explain later once I figure it out myself.
