Best line?

I felt pretty stupid after this hand. Pretty much unknown 10 hands had played all of them i think. I was going to call down until the Ah showed up.

What's the best line in situations like this? raise the flop call 3bet, fold turn UI? call down?

Must be out of my league, your line is the best I can come up with. Raising the flop isn't too great from a min / max standpoint and opens you up to getting pushed out by a weaker hand. The fact that we may be letting him see some streets cheaply with 3 outs isn't a big concern in the scope of the hand. If he's played all 10 hands I'd consider closing my eyes and put one more in on the river.

If he were a predictable, passive opponent who you'd belive would only 3 bet with a better holding and would call you down with JJ-TT then I could like a flop raise here.

out of interest what irc channels/networks are everyone using?

i was put off the 2+2 'official' channel last time i stopped by as it came across as somewhat of a circle jerk.

i suppose i should comment on the hand so this isnt a complete hijack:

perhaps rasing the turn for a free SD and folding to anymore aggression is an option? that limit is way above what i play so feel free to ignore.

i think i would raise the flop and then call down on further action. maybe fold to a turn CR when an Ace comes, but even then i might just call down b/c i dunno if i could bring myself to fold, esp since hes unknown.
