this isn't an arguement about what the best tv show is, this is what are your top 5 favorite tv shows? you can mix and match sitcoms, drama, cartoon, sci-fi etc. it doesn't matter, its your list.

list them 1-5, 1 being your favorite. i will start.

1. scrubs
2. friends
3. deadwood
4. coupling (BBC version)
5. seinfeld

edit: Lost will probably make this list but it has only had my attention for 1 season and some change.

1. The Sopranos
2. South Park
3. The Simpsons
4. Family Guy
5. Home Movies

These are actually the only five current shows I watch with any regularity, or really, at all. And Home Movies has actually been cancelled. I used to watch 24, but the writing seemed to go south after the middle of the second season or so. I hate sitcoms.

I usually don't catch the new Family Guy until Cartoon Network runs it, and haven't watched a new Simpsons in a while either.

Showtime's new "Masters of Horror" series has a lot of promise after three episodes. The first was top-notch, the second pretty solid, the third kind of "meh" but it looks like it could be good down the line with some of the directors they're using.

1) The Simpsons
2) West Wing

After that I would have to think about it. Simpsons and West Wing both blow now though.

NBC's Thursday night lineup. The Cosby Show/Family Ties/Cheers/Night Court. I think these shows are tied together in a lot of our heads.

I still watch Cheers and Night Court reruns when I catch em and I'm not doing anything, it's not often though.
