What? Don't we all want to play AA with 6 others in the pot? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

That's pretty bad considering he had all those limpers. Not raising is just asking for trouble.

There is no lesson here. Even if he raises to 60-100, there is a good chance that some of the limpers call and you call. I know I like to flop sets early when blinds are low. Cards happen.

Now that's a good one

but he will get SOME out.

In that case, he'd have most likely gotten me out - not only would it cost more, but I'd probably lose 2 or 3 of the guys that gave me pot odds.

Granted he was UTG, but it hadn't been a very aggressive table - I think he could have pushed it a little bit and gotten a long way.

The problem was not the limp. It was not folding on the flop. In this case 22 would hve probably called a raise, and it would be harder to get away from AA in a raised pot.

A lot of cases late in a tournament, people are always raising limpers. Sometimes I will limpraise with AK or JJ and limp/call with AA in those situations.

I agree with this. You SHOULD have raised but I think the pocket twos still call and you still go broke.

I am not sure you should go broke in a limped 6-way pot with that flop. In a raised pot, you go broke. In a limped pot, you should be able to get away from it.

If he made 80 to go you wouldn't call? I always do with a small pair early as the implied odds are huge.
