For the third time in the last 2 weeks, I played a nice session of poker, made a few dollars, and then promptly went on blackjack tilt and gave it all back. It's very odd, as I don't do stupid things while playing blackjack or other table games live, and I don't tilt when playing poker. But for some reason I find myself following near martingale practices when I play blackjack online.

If anyone hasn't removed the blackjack and sidebet icons from their computers, I highly recommend it, as I know I'm not the only person who's blown significant chunks in this fashion.

I wish the lesson had been cheaper,

Stop being dumb...stop it.

Ill bring dice out next time if you insist on gambling your loot away. I often get a nice game going on 28th and madison.

If you're gonna go on tilt, it's much more fun to tilt on poker. It's funny as hell when you suck out on someone and they go balistic.

yeah, that's basically exactly what i have to tell myself.

also, it should be known that the way that I entirely eliminated my poker tilt in one day was by saying "stop being dumb," and from taht moment on, no more tilt. so hopefully now i've gotten rid of the blackjack too.

drinks later this week or something?

If the dealer had to hit/stand first, BJ would rock. Sklansky's book on blackjack is pretty good.

Instead of betting blackjack, you should all just give me the money.

I am proud to say that I have not played one single hand of blackjack. I guess all of my bad habits are nested in playing within my bankroll.

If you are going to blow your money, you might as well play poker like a maniac. At least that way you are contributing to the poker economy as opposed to the Dikshit fortune. It will also be a helluva a lot more fun.
OT:I was trying to get my newly registered verison of Poker Ace set up correctly today and I was having some difficulty so I went to .02/.04 holdem to see if it was working right. I lost to a dominated hand off the bat, blew my initial 40 cent buy in and decided to whip out my e-penis by rebuying with whole stars roll (about 3K). I shudder to think what could have happened if I had the same irrational action at a meaningful limit. It was kind of fun though.

This thread made me laugh/ not feel like too much of an idiot. I guess I'm not the only one to make these kinds of dumb mistakes.

Everyone was so worried about when BJ came out...

OH NO party is going to get the fishies money faster then we can take it!!!!

I always knew the truth though... Some winning players would bankrupt themselves and the fishies would lose their money WAY faster playing poker against me anyways.

(especially when all the action junkie winning stters went broke).

How do you remove the BJ and the side bet function?
