It looks like you're not playing enough hands and you're not raising enough preflop. You're also not going to showdown enough of the time. I suck at reading stats though so that's almost all I can say /images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Post this in the Stats thread. You'll get more replies.

And dude, you are waaaaaaaay tight. As I told another poster, I would love to have you to my left. Play more hands and be more aggressive. And defend your blinds. Good god.

EDIT: FYI, stats thread (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=3415364&an=0&page=0#Post 3415364).

Couple of things stand out to me.

You're even tighter than I am, and I didn't think that was possible. I'm about 14/8 @ 1/2. I don't play much Axs, I don't play pps less than 99 unless there's a bunch of limpers or I'm first or second in in late position. I'm usually not playing A9o/KTo/QJo in mid to early position. And you're folding two more hands than I do every hundred? That's astounding.

But don't loosen up preflop yet!

You're going to showdown 26% of the time? With as tight as you are preflop, this should be at least 30ish. You are folding way too many pots that you either have the better hand on or can push someone off of a hand on. I bet you are folding a lot of pots that don't go to showdown. Keep in mind that you don't need the nuts to win every hand...

If I were you I'd work on the postflop stuff before the preflop stuff. I tend to think you're giving up a lot more EV by folding too much after the flop as opposed to before the flop.

One of the problems with my game right now is that I can't really put someone on a hand range. I can't understand how bad some of these players actually are so I tend to give them credit for a better hand than they have. Maybe this is one of your problems too.

Maybe someone else can chime in and tell you if this is good advice. I've only got a few k hands of experience myself and am very, very far away from figuring poker out.
