And if so, do you think it'll hurt the games? Or not really have much impact?

Just for the heck of it I emailed support and asked them. I got a form reply. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

They seem to be pretty slow about some things, this is one of them. Would it hurt the games? Who knows? If it kills the fish faster, I'm against it as AP is less good than it used to be already..........

3 tables already makes my computer gasp for air. 4 tables would drown it quickly. They need to work on the efficiency of their software before they unleash more of it on us.

This is one thing I've heard but have yet to experience.

My computer is slow as [censored], but Absolute runs just fine.

When I got a call from Absolute a couple months ago about getting me back with a VIP Package, I talked to the rep for a bit about what could be changed. The two big things that he mentioned as being in the works were the ability to 4-table, and hand histories saved to the hard drive. The hand history issue has already been fixed, so I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before you can 4-table. How long it will be, I have no idea.

This is encouraging.

Of course, I'd be thrilled if I could play even more than 4 tables...

I hope not...4-tabling would make the games much more unappealing. Just play multiple sites at the same time

Do you play full ring or 6-max?

I am really up in the air about how it would affect the games if they allowed more tables. I really don't think 1 more table will make that difference, but I could see arguments if they suddenly allowed 8-tabling.

I play 6max at 2/4 and below....it's quite common for me to have the same TAGs with me on 2 or 3 tables with 1-2 fish that we are all poaching. The fish, in the vast majority, do not multi-table. I'm afraid another table would just lead to a worse fish/total players proportion.

They are working right now on making the software more efficient to make this possible.

sorry if I am hi-jacking your post, somethingclever, but I have a few questions for you Absolute players, if I may:

1. is their policy to round down your cash outs and not return the change to your account?
I has just cashed-out 200 bucks and 56 cents and they only returned 200 even to my Neteller and didn't put the 56 cents back into my account...
I cashed out before and they rounded down also, but it was only for like 5 cents, so I didn't fuss...but if they start taking 50 cents plus of each cash-out off every player, it's just another form of "rake" for them!!!

2. Will they allow me to open up a new account with rakeback, as I no longer play there? any experiences you guys have with this?

I never played more than 2 tables at once when I played...is 2/4 a good limit there now? I always remember it as being tough and full of tight players...more tables will only make this worse as fish don't really play more than 1-2 tables...my 2 cents.

they don't let you cash out cents to neteller. Whole dollar amounts only and no fees no matter how many transactions.

floor-style cashout rounding seems common. 3 out of 5 sites I have played on do this.

I just got off the phone with a VIP rep from AP. He told me that support for 5 tables should be up within a week and support for 6-8 by the end of the year. There is supposed to be a lot of software upgrades to come as well.

Does this site want to ruin the games even more then they have? The 1/2 games are bad, the 2/4 and above are terrible because the donaters tap out too fast. With 4 or more tables the games will only get worse. This site should be a one table site like Pacific............ /images/graemlins/grin.gif

A while back I requested them to add auto-reconnect to their software. It was done the next day! Not sure if that's a coincidence or not. Anyone notice the auto-reconnect feature?
