Every week the sweeds/norweigens/finnish dominate the stars $215 sunday tournament for hundreds of thousands of dollars. The problem with this is that there is a lot of variance in multi-table tourneys and only 100/3500 players are from scandia. Assuming that they are 4 times better than the avg non-scandia player, what's the p-value to test the hypothesis that at least 3 of them make the final table at least 5 weeks in a row and ARE NOT CHEATING??? I will work under Ho that they are not cheating in teams until proven otherwise, but my suspicion is that this p-value could very well be <.05.

Thanks,

Indy

As soon as someone wins a lot you must suspect them of cheating, is that it?

I suppose it's for the good of the game though. I have no idea, I don't play much tournaments at all, but I suppose it could be possible, in theory.

I noticed similar trends/anomolies at pokerroom.com

After doing a little research, I was somewhat surprised to see that this site's corporate offices were located in Stockholm, Sweden.

I have followed the advice of people on these forums to avoid playing at places where the integrity of the game play does not seem in accordance with the site's policies regarding player conduct.
