SUV Mileage

I'm buying a Chevy Blazer with about 160k miles on it for 2500$. If I take good care of it and put in like 500$ in repairs, how much longer can I expect to drive it?

Basicaly, what's the lifespan on it if it's in good condition for its mileage.

There are way too many unknowns involved here. If properly maintained (oil changes, tune-ups, no crazy driving) an engine/drive train from any car should be able to handle 200K miles. Of course you don't know what kind of driving the vehicle has been through, whether people have been good about the maintenance, etc. I'd say take it to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection prior to buying it. Even then I'd be prepared to throw quite a bit money at this vehicle or be willing/able to give up on it if some major problems arise. Basically, it's a gamble buying an unknown car with that many miles on it.
