View Full Version : Bodog Bonus "Whoring" Question

11-14-2005, 01:04 AM
Will this work?
Say if I have a 20k+ bankroll at Bodog and generate 3000+ bonus points a month multitabling their nl games, can I withdraw 10k once a month and then redeposit 10k (to receive the 1k bonus).
I am under the assumption that as long as I play off the 1k bonus (3 points per $1=3000 points a month) this is acceptable with bodog.

thanks

Bodog will label you a "bonus abuser". I believe they make you ineligible to receive bonuses when they do this. They're sort of notorious for it.

the bottom of their 'bottomless' bonus is $800 so it has an 8k deposit ceiling.

If you don't deposit NEW money you will be labeled as a bonus abuser and be warned about losing your bonus priveleges...

Is Bodog the only site that takes away bonus if you "abuse" it? I haven't heard of any other sites doing this.

Thats not very deep. Ive cleared about $400 without being labled an abuser, I guess its likely to happen soon though.

Sounds like a lame poker room to me, if this is true.

No, this won't work. You'll likely be labeled a bonus abuser the first time you do this and longer get bonus money at Bodog ever again.

It's my guess they lowered the bonus to 10%, & started labeling more & more people abusers because people were trying to pull this stunt.

They are starting to ban more & more people (from bonuses)who provide plenty of coverage of play, and don't redosit such hefty sums.
I've been playing at bodog quite a while now, & the few times I've cashed out large sums, I've waited a couple weeks minimum to redeposit.
I myself haven't had a problem, yet anyway.

Search recent threads in this forum for more on bonus abusers at bodog.

i haven't had a problem yet and i've taken ~1k in bonuses out. i've made a bunch of deposits and then made a withdrawal instead of always going deposit - withdrawal - deposit etc. not sure if that matters, and i've only made one withdrawal, so they might nail me later.

They always have a 10% bonus which is supposedly bottomless but evidently is capped at $800...

it's definitely not capped, I've done close to $2000 without even a hint of a warning (though I've been using them mostly for sports recently as opposed to poker).

I'm guessing they just deal with it on a case basis.
