Went to see Art Brut last Thursday with megantw and bdk3clash. The first opening band sucked. The second one was better. Art Brut was fun. They were funny. They were loud. They started by playing the first couple of bars or Back In Black, just for kicks. They sound like a couple of guys who practiced and practiced until they got good at their guitars and then discovered The Ramones and the Pistols and developed a sense of humor. Before the show megantw pointed out an outrageously dressed guy with an incredibly sleazy pencil-thin moustache. The moustachioed man was Art Brut's singer.
