I think it's close between raising and just getting the overcall on the river. Is raising the flop ok here? I guess getting the gutshots out would be ok.

That's a good question. I wanted to freeze out both players behind me and get HU with the donker. I was surprised when they both cold-called.

100% ok i think
-flop raise is fine: we want it heads up, and we have lots of outs if behind
-turn is fine, too many players to bluff that
-river is fine- if we raise we get one bet extra when ahead and lose 2 when behind and he caps. I like the overcall- same value, no worry.

Why no bet on the turn?

Because I'm not worried about giving away free cards. I'm the one looking for a free card.

I'd normally just call the flop but raising for the free card seems fine. I definitely like going for river overcalls, nicely played.

sb played it like a possible flush draw. I think turn bet is horrible given the fact that you're forced to call it with the K /images/graemlins/club.gif and possibly call if an A or K comes on the river.

puts u in a tough spot.
