Bought New Video Card For Dual Monitors - Now My Computer's So Screwed [Archive]

To support two LCDs for 8-tabling I bought a new video card yesterday- the ATI Radeon X 700 Pro (AGP). It took about 20 tries to even get my computer started properly. Everything's running much more slowly; for instance, when I scroll down in Internet Explorer it doesn't scroll smoothly, but instead in kind-of "chunks". I can't get the second monitor to display anything. It briefly displayed the same thing as the first monitor when they were both set at 640x480 (when I got the computer to reboot). As soon as I set the display to 1600x1200 only one monitor will display.

Any thoughts??

Did you install the driver for the new video card?
Also, check ATI's site for driver updates.

And be sure "uninstall" the drivers before installing the new ones.
