I lost half my stack on a bad beat on the second hand. this is 2 hands later. I'm always looking for a good amount to raise preflop in the early rounds, and if anything, it seems related to the time of day I'm playing. As this is late friday night, perhaps I should have raised more, even pushing preflop might not have been bad. On the flop, I'm either way ahead or way behind, but I'm not sure what to do when it's checked to me. Any bet basically pot commits me, but I don't want to give a free card either. What's your line, before the flop and on the flop?
