6 Handed 5/10 NL on Prima. We all have about $1k to start.
BB in this hand is a really weak, loose player. Button seems decent, a little on the tight side.

I open T /images/graemlins/diamond.gifT /images/graemlins/heart.gif for $35 in MP. Button reraises to $100. BB cold calls. I call.

$300 in pot. Flop comes 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif7 /images/graemlins/heart.gifT /images/graemlins/spade.gif

Check, check, check.

Turn A /images/graemlins/spade.gif

BB bets $152, I raise to $450. Button cold calls. BB calls.

River 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif ($1650 in pot)

We all have $500 left at this point. BB checks. What is your play?

Well. You can push or check/call. And check/calling here is awful.

I'd laugh if someone hit the flush vs TTT and AAA.

No way is AA going to check here on flop.

Dont like flop check.

Flop check is 100% the correct play. Think about the probable scenarios if I bet and If I check...

Hint: If the loose player is in between me and the raiser, betting is always correct...

Push and get called by AK.

Just making sure I'm not getting results oriented. I pushed. Button folded. BB called and showed Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif.

I like the flop check because it allows big cards to catch up and you're almost definitely not up against an overpair here because they would have definitely bet this flop. If you bet here you'll be taking it down uncontested mcuh too often compared to how much money you can get when someone hits their "6-outer" on the turn.
