Hi Lloyd.

I wanted to thank you and Justin for doing such an excellent job moderating the MTT Forum.

People come to the board primarily for information, and secondarily as a sense of online community. The quality of both have improved considerably under your tenure. Play a Hand with the Masters is a great concept and will probably generate enough material over a few years to compile a book (especially if another 2+2er can win the WSOP).

Given the nature of the game: the size of egos involved, the number of bad beats that we deliver, and the randomness of results, it is important for the moderators to be heavy handed about censoring personal attacks. I'm sure that the moderators are judicious and deliberate when protecting the environment of the MTT. Without this care, the MTT could look like the WPT forum: the poker equivalent of the Jerry Springer show.

People are welcome to lurk on an open forum, and will not contribute if they are shamed, or begged. At the end of the day they are only denying themselves insight to their own game. It's unlikely that an individual lurker would add that much more value than the best regular posters are already contributing.

Keep up the great work!

Very well put. The mods have done such a great job of encouraging and facilitating really great content. Their role in actually moderating content has been minimal and even-handed, and they have gone so far beyond the call of the duty to ensure that this forum is a great place for players of all skill levels to work on their games.

Thanks guys, keep up the good work, it is appreciated.
