Go to Gold Strike or Horseshoe.

both spread 1/2 NL hold-em I believe now.

The gold-strikes' game was famous for it's fishyness...but since I think Horseshoe is spreading it now I'm sure they compete also.

you can buy-in for just $100 and milk it for what it's worth.

Some guys might have $1k or more at the table...so buying in for your whole roll would be risky (you don't want to take a bad-beat early and then have nothing left to play with).

Some crazy players in those games..especially on the weekends.
You might do better to play the 3/6 or 4/8 limit games on limited budget.

The Grand Casino also has 1/2 and 2/5 NL I believe.

Horseshoe is considered by most to be the best room in Tunica though with the best comps.

good luck.

I believe the only the 2/5 NL goes at the grand on the weekends.

Well...I did say the Gold Strike's 1/2 NL was pretty famous in Tunica (I haven't been there in months though...but I'm assuming they still spread it).

No-cap on the buy-in though...so you can buy-in for the minimum of $100 (I think that's the minimum) but you'll be up against some guys with stacks of over $1k.

Yea, on the weekends, Horseshoe and the Grand don't spread 1/2, but the Gold Strike does. It is a great game. As recommended, if you have a limited roll, just put $100 in to start out with. There will be many people that will have your roll covered during the weekend. Don't be scared of the players with $1k+ in front of them. Most buy in for $1k for "table presence".

and some of them play absolutely insane.
73-offsuit bluffs and then giggling and showing the table and what-not.

On a weekend night it's obviously more prone to be populated by a few drunks and maniacs (while maybe 3 or 4 players might actually be playing semi-normally).

The shoe spreads the 2-5nl and by my experience it is the best game going right now in tunica. I was playing with some chump who was buying pot after pot only because he had 4K in front of him.
The strike is 1-2nl territory. Early am is the best time to play these since many chumps are sitting stuck around this time. Choose your game carefully since the must move is the softest.

Actually come to think of it the 10-20 limit might be it on the weekends. 20-40 is sometimes too good to beat if you know what I mean.

Hollywood may still be running 1-2nl/200 max buy-in. Seems like a rock game to me. Take it for what it's worth-easy to beat but no return.

If the strike is still offering 2-5 stud its a gravy game. I killed this low limit game a few sessions in mid afternoon when holdem was getting YAWN.

have a good one. M.

I recently played the strike 2-5 stud game. But I wouldn't say it was a gravy game. I would say it is like having a personal ATM machine at the table /images/graemlins/grin.gif There was one guy there playing EVERY single hand. No I am not exagerrating, I mean literally EVERY hand, and he would almost always go to 6th or 7th st. with it. Lots of chasing flushes when half or more of their suit was dead already, and almost anything else you can imagine. Fun, fun game.

Yeah, Gold Strike's 1/2 NL is probably your best bet. Sometimes I've seen it in the often-smoky Sam's Town poker room.
