"California says no to Arnold"

"Arnold rebuked"

"Dismal results for Arnold"

Yesterday's headlines.

The percentage of voters who understood what they were voting on was even lower this time than normal. The percentage of voters who voted "against Arnold" was high. Really high.

Morons. Unbelievable. I would have respect if they could actually articulate why they voted no on a given prop but to think we are ruled by a sniveling mob of Oprah-watching morans is almost too much to take anymore.

My favorite no ad was the one comparing California to Texas if 77 passed. "Hey, Texas does it this way, and you-know-who is from Texas, therefore we hates it, we mustn't passes the nasty 77s".

"What is it about"?

"Doesn't matter, Texas does it that way, we hates it".

Utter stupidity.

If Arnold proposed the worlds' most intelligent perfectly planned policy, these foggy headed dipshits would vote it down.

Triumph of the ad hominem.

I don't see how the election was much different than others. If the percentage who understood what they were voting on was even lower than normal, I blame Arnold. I read all the propositions. They were basically indecipherable and unreadable, written in politicianandlobbyistese. Cost the state $50,000,000 to put on the election and the proposjitions were not readable. Par for the course.

We have a system that resulted in Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush being elected president. Twice each. 'Nuff said?

I agree... how can a proposal to end gerrymandering fail?

I don't remembert the last time I saw an ad supporting or opposing a ballot issue that remotely resembled an intelligent argument for or against the isuue.
