Villain is 31/12/2.36/312. He has c/r the turn 0/27 times.

I thought he could be c/r a weaker K, no?

if I just saw his AF stats and the fact he donked the flop, id say yeah call it down, the fact hes never c/r the turn frightens me, but I guess sample size comes into play.

FWIW, I woulda called down

Calling seems fine. He most likely tripped up on the turn or maybe even made a boat. With no c/r in the past he had to improve to check raise or he would have capped on the flop. That's my thinking anyway. He could easily have flopped a set of 8's as well.

Good hand, that's for sure.
