Hey all,
24 left and Im second
Question:
220k in chips - blings 3/6k
I have KQ in LP. Other big stack to my right opens for 18k and has been doing so regularly.
I call - with position.
BB goes all for total 41k (23k reraise). Villain insta-calls.
Do you call for pot odds?

KQ will trap you there more than you'd like. Fold.

I did!
BB turns over AA and villain JJ
K92 flop
K turn
x river
Arrrrghhhh - lost out on 123k pot for only a call of 23k! Plus the possibility of getting the other big stacks 100k or so!
I am rethinking this one!
Jon
Play at more of my tables with that theory :\.

lol
I know - not a lot in it though!
Anyone know by how much this is -EV
Cheers Jon
you might as well call. not only are you getting the right odds, but the raise from the JJ basically doubles the bet. if youre going to flat call 18k before the flop with KQo then you should call this min reraise from an all in without question at that price.
check the flop if aces checks to you.
and you should know better to fold if he budges.

I have 470k (8 handed)
Raise UTg with AQs.
UTG + 1 reraises to 160k total.
Folded to me - do i call.
I did he flipped AK. No Q.
Made the wrong play here!
RE: this hand, depending on how tight (or loose) the table has been, I'd tend to fold, unless I was getting about 3:1 on my money (not sure what your odds were). On the OP hand, since you are getting almost 4:1 on your money, I'd make a crying call. Although I probably wouldn't have called the Villian's original raise either.

I would turbo muck AQ in that situation.
