View Full Version : PP $20+2 sng -- Nut Flush Draw pushes

11-10-2005, 04:09 PM
I have been reading 2+2 for a while but this is my first post. There are probably many things wrong with the way i've laid it out, but I have a question. In this situation, i've considered many times coming over the top for all my chips when I think that they both missed or have a hand that would make it difficult to call with. In this particular situation, would shoving ever be correct with minimal reads?

How come no raise pre-flop?

Two overcards and the nut flush draw. But it seems like the raiser would probably call you here. Do you want the caller?

I don't know, I think I'd wait for a better spot.

Should I have raised in that position that early with that hand? Maybe i'm wrong, and please tell me if I am, but I tend to limp with these sort of hands early.

Also, my impression was that the raiser was thinking exactly what I was--that the initial better missed the flop.

The initial better ended up insta-folding behind my fold after the raise.
