View Full Version : Do I call this turn bet?

I think so, but I'm just a donkey. Opponent was semi-Lag but may have just been catching cards as he had raised and called raises 8 out of the last 20, showing down some strong hands.

It seems to me with the double gutshot and what i feel to be two overcards that this is an insta-call to get to the river....do you?

Getting 4.25:1, I don't think I can find a fold here. You still have lots of options if the river's a blank, and you'll probably get paid very handsomely if you hit the K (less handsomely perhaps if you hit the 9).

If you plan on calling his bet anyway is there any reason not to lead this turn?? I'm not sure what you're ahead of that he can call that flop with, but it seems kind of weak to me to check/call this turn.
