Your stack size is really awkward here, I think if everyone is deeper it's correct to raise but into two opponents on a rainbow board I think I can give a cheap turn and reevaluate, paying close attention if the turn is a 4 or a 9.

400 total. Check the turn through. Call most river bets.

Smooth calling is fine too I think, but meh, I'd rather raise.

That raise amount is a really yucky one if you get called and a scare card hits and someone pushes the turn.

Why? You have roughly a pot sized bet behind. You can play plenty of poker with that.

i folded. i figured that the hands utg calls with here are Tx, maybe 78, and sets. another possibility is a missed limpRR with AA/KK, trapping now on a safe board. most people are not limping a lot of Tx hands utg (and AT is most likely).

SB could be betting a pretty wide range, but could definitely include sets and two pair.

i thought this was likely a win a small pot lose a big one situation.

I agree with the raise to 400. After this, I'd probably play for my whole stack against BB but shut down if UTG didn't fold.

Folding on the flop doesn't seem so bad either though.

Wow, you have much more respect for 55 players than me.

It's a fold at the WSOP, I suppose, but absent any reads, I think UTG has random crap much more often than a monster.

With position and good pot odds, I call and await developments.
