I am thinking about starting up a non-raked home game near Exton, PA sometime in early August. I would initially host, but would be open to a rotation of locations if they weren't too far away; 5-10 miles at most. I would like to play regularly, once or twice a month, with weeknights being the probably game night.

The games would be strictly casino-related games, preferably a mix of board and stud games. I'd prefer to play a variety of games, including high/low variants, triple draw and low only games. Regular five card draw and 5 stud games are probably not what I have in mind.

I would not want to play wild card games, with the exception of an additional one-card Joker for certain games. One Go-Fish poker game, which I am already in, is quite enough for me.

Limits would be similar to low limit games in the casinos, with a cap at the $3/6 level and $2/4 being preferred. I would be willing to try different structures, such as capped or small buy-in pot-limit and no-limit games, or $1-5 or $1-2-2-4 spread games. Half-kill or full-kill games, with limited number of kill hands, would also be acceptable. Mixed game nights, or different games for each night that we play, is fine also.

I could also see low buy in tournaments as a possibility, once we all became comfortable with each other.

If you are interested in starting up this kind of home game, please post here. If you prefer privacy, email me at lotterylarry@hotmail.com.

Thank you

In case anyone is interested:

It may not be a good idea to have 2+2'ers show up /images/graemlins/wink.gif but if you are west of Philly and are interested, I've pared down my invitation list and have some slots open.

See my game in the Penna section of homepokergames.com for the original information (we have started tournaments also once a month and we play bimonthly)
