I'm right now playing 3/6 and 5/10 6 max but a player at my 3/6 table had 95% vp$ip and about 35% pfr and moved up to 5/10 and finally 15/30 so I followed him along. I did pick up a pot with AK UI against him but he left during my first orbit. As such, I have no reads for this hand. My plan is to bet if a five comes and it's checked to me, otherwise call. If a 4 had come I would have bet/raised it. Sound good?

Is 15/30 normally such a limpfest?

There really isn't anything you could have done differently now is there? I agree with everything, but I don't raise if the 4/images/graemlins/club.gif comes.

I'm assuming you guys are saying raise the flop when UTG+1 bets?

Probably a good move to get out some weaker overcard hands here I guess and increase the chance of my fives holding up. That is the reason, right? At the table I think I was thinking about this incorrectly. I thought since there were 537 other guys in the hand that the next card would be devastating if it wasn't a 4 or possibly 5. Increasing the chance of my fives holding up would probably be better.

may sound like a nitty like play but to me 55 is a fold UTG+2.

even after two limpers? I think that is weak.

There are two limpers aleady, and a post from the CO. With 55, you really want a multi-way pot. Flop a set (or a straight draw) or get out. There's more than enough limpers in the pot already to make this an easy call. Doesn't matter if it's 1/2 or 150/300. Mutli-way is multi-way.

Also, at this point the fact the you are UTG+2 isn't really that important. In pots with this many players in them, you're pretty much going to have to show down a winner. In fact, having a raise come from one or two spots behind you isn't too bad. If you hit your set, you can check-raise the entire field on the flop.
