Guy won 4600 with pair of qs only today, won like 6k at one point in 5 10 PLO!

Does the 5-10 or larger games run on bodog frequently? Are they good?

As a sidenote, I saw a 10,000$+ pot won in a live game by a pair of sevens.

My biggest pot won at 2/4 PLO was with a Pair of Aces..

I won an 1800 pound pot at the vic in london with a pair of sixes although my ace high was winning already and I didn't even need the six.

I scooped a massive limit Omaha8 pot live once with a pair of aces. Only reason I made to the river in the midst of all the action was I new to Omaha and misread my hand.

The action in the hand was fairly standard actually, and a good argument for using position and pot control to win when everyone misses.

The game was 10-25, everyone was pretty deep. There were 4 or 5 guys in for 150$ preflop. The flop came down something like 247 and two guys got their stacks in after a few raises. One guy had 3568, the other had 3567, brick, brick, and the sevens hold up.

Come to the WPO in January, the games are even better and much more plentiful. Where the Rio had usually 1 2-5, 1 10-25, and 1 25-50, the WPO had 3 10-25 games going, 2 2-5s and 1 or 2 25-50s. Mandatory button straddles, and gamboolers aplenty.

Is that PLO game still running at the wynn?

yeah wynn plo runs at times, but never higher than 2/5 anymore and often 1/2.

does wpo interfere with atlantis? If not, I may have to schedule a trip.

Last year the pokerstars cruise ran during the first week of the WPO, and all the name players chose to play on the boat instead. I assume its probably similar this year. If you do make it, shoot me a PM. I should be down there for a few weeks.

yeah I qual'ed for atlantis already (woot!)

looking like tunica grand 4th - 26th, with wpo being 22-26. atlantis runs 4-11 so I could spend all sorts of time there...

The blinds were 10-10 and it was about 8 handed

I had about 1200 in front of me at the time. I loose player limped earlier and then this loose aggressive guy raised next in to about 50. I called with A /images/graemlins/diamond.gifQ /images/graemlins/heart.gifJ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif6 /images/graemlins/heart.gif double suited in diamonds and hearts. One player called behind me as well. The flop game T /images/graemlins/diamond.gif97 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. The loose player checked and the loose aggressive guy bets. I look at him and decide he's not that strong and reraise the pot. The loose player now pushes his 800 pound stack in the pot. The original better folds and I call. Loose player Shows KQJ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif2 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. Turn is a six of clubs and river is a 2 of hearts and I win the pot with my pair of sixes. Loose aggressive guy is irate now as he claimed he passed 86.

$900, Queen high. Not as much money, but worse hand.

Well he was at it again today, bought in for 800 at the 5 10 plo8 on bo and in 6hrs I checked on him and he had 8400 WTF!

I lost a 6k pot in 10/20 PLO8, scooped by a measly pair 3's.
