Civilization III

anyone here play this? if not, id recommend it. its a fun turn-based game sentered around building up a civilization and competing with other civ's run by some pretty dang good AI. since i lost my job, and have been out of action for the last month and been chilling at my parents' house until i get things straightened out, ive been playing a lot of Civilization III and its a blast.

I almost bought it last week. If I start hearing good things here, I'm almost certainly going to be running out next week and getting it.

I like it but sometimes you have to wait a ridiculously long time between turns while the computer decides to do something like move all his troops back and forth across the same square. I wish there was a zip option for the other players turns. It can be fun though and what's good about it is that is can be very hard unlike something Age of Empires (which I love anyway).


Definitely a game worth playing.
