Why do people like Hentai and/or Anime?

Also, they are little girls with small bodies and big breasts. A "real" girl that looked like this is both impossible and repulsive. However, well-drawn cartoons pull it off.

All anime is not necessarily Hentai. Hentai = anime porn, and I'm with you, WTF do people watch this?

Anime on the other hand, meh. There's a couple series I really like, but there's a couple I tried watching and just couldn't get into it at all.

Agreed. You just need someone not too far gone into anime to serve as a guide to the best of it. Too many fans of it basically completely abandon all standards on anything that's anime, and like some real junk that they wouldn't watch at all if it weren't anime. But there are some really great anime out there.

The hentai thing I think is weird. It's impossible for me to imagine getting turned on by a cartoon, and the childishness of the girls and women in anime and hentai can be gross. Then again I'm not a big fan of rape or child molesting in general, so I'm probably not hip enough.

exactly. i think most people think anime is all pokemon and dragon ball z, but there is some stuff out there that i would rank up with some of the best TV shows ever, animated or otherwise

as for hentai, people are f-king strange. read some of the review on something awful, its pretty funny

Anime = the pwn. Princess Mononoke is very good, Naruto's pretty awesome, and there are a few that don't come to mind Gundam (Giant Robot Anime) kicks ass. It's just like any old cartoon, though there hasn't been a cool cartoon in ages. I miss Spidey and TMNT.

I used to wonder this too until I saw some great Miyazaki films. As for anime shows, watch Cowboy Bebop. One of the best shows I've ever seen, it kind of blows your mind.

I've seeen some anime that is actually very well done. I'm not into it, so don't ask for any titles, but I've heard the names "Akira" and "Ghost in the Shell" thrown around a lot. For some reason I think they're like the gold standards in anime.

As for hentai and other cartoon porn, I think tha it's just a way to make porn for people with some really messed up perversions.
