Need new monitor

I am in the market for a new monitor. Right now, I have a Dell laptop with 1600x1200 resolution, which is great becuase I can 4-table without overlap. Are there any 17" LCD monitors that support this resolution? Any particular recommendations as to which monitor brands are the best, etc...

Go to newegg.com and you should be able to narrow your choices down to the resolution you want. I have some doubt that a 17" LCD will have the resolution you want. I just got a Viewsonic 19" LCD model VP191b and it's max resolution is 1280x1024. Otherwise it's great.

1) no, unfortunately.
2) samsung 204T or dell 2001fp.
