Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx (http://www.zerodivide.cx/converter)

saw flop|saw showdown

UTG (t935)
UTG+1 (t2618)
UTG+2 (t525)
MP1 (t770)
Hero (t2005)
MP3 (t1140)
CO (t507)
Button (t1745)
SB (t1345)
BB (t430)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 9/images/graemlins/club.gif.
3 folds, MP1 raises to t75, Hero calls t75, MP3 calls t75, 4 folds.

Preflop I thought the raise was pretty small and figured my 9s could be ahead but didn't want to raise and make a big pot with so many people yet to act.

Also the bet represented about 10% of his stack so calling for set potential isn't bad especially with position.

Flop: (t270) Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
MP1 bets t30, Hero calls t30, MP3 calls t30.

3 of us take the flop. MP1 had been a solid player and I figured him for your normal range of hands. MP3 I figured could have a wide range and had been pretty loose preflop and pretty passive post flop... your typical bad player.

I just called the flop in part to see what MP3 did and figured for just t30 I could take a card off to hit a 9 since I figured they were both clean (I held the 9h).

Turn: (t360) 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
MP1 bets t30, Hero raises to t200, MP3 folds, MP1 calls t170.

After MP3 just called the t30 behind me on the flop I started to like my 9s. I figure MP3 calls with any hand even with a hand like Kx or Ax just to see the cheap turn. The turn brought another under and the third heart to the board. When MP1 led out for t30 again I felt like he didn't have a hand and my hand was good or I could take the pot with some aggression.

I raised to represent the flush and because I figured my 9s might be good. I folded off MP3 but MP1 called. At this point I figured MP1 for a hand like AK or Ax with a big heart and he was looking for his flush.

River: (t760) 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
MP1 bets t465 (all in), Hero ???.

What looks to be another blank in the 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif comes off and I plan on checking through the river to see if my 9s are good. Then he pushes and I'm not sure what to think here.

What hands can people see playing like this? Do you call here or do you think you are beat most of the time?

I don't mind comments on all streets but I'm most intrested to see what people have MP1 on that he plays it like this.

this is a pretty tough hand. it feels a little weak, but i would call the turn. my hand is marginal whether or not a heart hits on the end, so i'd like to keep the pot small.

as it played out, i'd fold. it's hard to know what he has, but hands like KhQx, AhQx, AhAx, KhKx, JhJx all seem possible. i think he probably has a heart because a hand like AxAx would want to shut out one-card draws on the turn. you might be folding a winner, but so be it.

why not raise the flop and fold to any other bets on turn or river?

I wanted to see how MP3 played it and then how the turn developed before committing a good number of chips.
