I withdrew a couple days ago. If someone in the same situation tries this one, let us know if you get the bonus. This ain't Party, so I won't be bothered if I am ineligible for a 10x bonus at the newly tight Empire, but it may be worth doing.

Hmm...I'm debating on whether or not to do this one. Is this 10x bonus any better than Absolute's (see as how tight the x-party skins have become)? If not, I won't waste my time on it. Hell, I rarely waste my time on Absolute (I don't have RB there).

Thanks for the tip!

I played my initial $100 Empire bonus after the split, which was a 5x raked hands bonus. It took me about 1400 hands of .5/1 to clear a 500 raked hands bonus. The tables are incredibly tight, at .5/1 the highest average pot you will see is about $4, also you cannot be choosey upon which table you join since all tables are constantly full. Therefore you pretty much play at whatever table to can get a seat at.

When I cleared my bonus, juicy tables were nonexistant. Take my comments with a grain of salt though, since when I cleared my bonus there was also that big bonus they had going, up to $600 or something; I'm not sure. The tables were full of whores, blindstealing and positional play were pretty crucial. Pushing marginal edges became very important, and my game isn't good enough to really take advantage of this, so I found it hard to adjust.

I'm going to do the bonus. I think there are some decent 1/2 short tables at Empire--you just have to look harder.

That's very handy... I had just stickied one of those silly $10/30x things up to $30 and was going to deposit to clear it. So guess I'll just have to have a $130/10x bonus instead... /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Last months Euro reload really was not all that torturous at the .50/$1 6 max tables. Still, it does get annoying actually having to pay attention at that level.

That 15 day thing gets applied one time, and rather haphazardly I might add as not everyone was denied the bonus despite cashing out within 15 days prior, months ago and now every time there's a bonus you guys think withdrawing BEFORE the bonus period is somehow gonna make you ineligible for the bonus.

You may be right, but I seem to remember the Party reloads in September got blocked for a lot of people because of the 15 day rule too. You never know when this thing will pop up.

Did not get bonus account credit. Sigh. I should always
wait several hours after the start to deposit.

email sent to support. we shall see.

since the fencing off of pokerskins from party i have all but stopped doing these bonuses....

are they still an easy 10x or is it truly a garden of rocks?

(levels i would be clearing at .50/1 and 1/2)

When I was clearing the bonus right before the huge 20x up to 300 one, I played 1/2 6 max and the average pot size on those tables were 5-6 dollars... good luck sir

I will never play at empire again without a 5 or 7x bonus, I play 1/2 6 max

I couldn't bring myself to face the whole 1,000 raked hands so I threw in $70, thinking 700 was something I could endure. Surprisingly, I found a great table at 1/2 Short Limit. It was not bad and knocked off 200 hands in short order.

11-11-2005, 02:13 PM
I cleared 362 raked hands (1,323 total hands) at the beginner $5 and $10 NL tables last night. 4 tabling with usually one $10 table and 3 $5 tables running. So it should be a three day session for me to clear at those levels. Not bad, and the players at those stakes are some of the worst I have ever seen.

Of course this doesn't help anyone who has had an account with them for more than 45 days. I did notice that you can't open more than 4 tables at a time. The 10 table deal must be Party specific.

Happy whoring!

I did not check those limits, but I can tell you how Thursday evening NL25 (full ring) tables looked. Sorting by average pot size and picking the 4 best tables, I observed these stats:

Worst table: VPIP 14 PFR 6 (40% of hands count as raked)
Best table: VPIP 26 PFR 4 (60% of hands count as raked)

11-11-2005, 04:39 PM
u kidding me? why can't we whores just get a system down that 4 pplayers always see a flop and it is checked to the river.

Depends what you consider good. It took me almost exactly 2000 hands to get 1000 raked. I played a combination of 25nl and limit .5/1 6 max. I made $86 on top of $100 bonus. So it worked out to about 9 cents a hand or about $20/hr. If I look historically at $100 bonuses at party and skins: here is how much I have made outside of the bonus starting with the present and going backwards, all playing mostly 25nl:

86, 45, (15), 19, (26), 65, 31, 6, 1, (12), 50, 201, 64, 29, 79, 17, 98, 74, 28.

No firm conclusions here, but for low risk, nitty bonus whoring, the payoffs haven't changed much over time for me in absolute terms, though they have worsened significantly in hourly rate.

I treat these X-skins bonus like Bet365, were table selection is very important. Pick a loose table and
when it rocks up move! Plus if you see a table with a
high flop % and high VPIP. But with a lot of people on the waiting list forget about it. Those rocks in waiting
will kill the table before you ever get on it.

I deposited yesterday and played 2 hours last night, 1 hour at lunch today and about 2 hours tonight to clear the bonus. This was 4-tabling at NL $50. I had about 70% of hands get raked.

Now back to Eurobet to finish last month's bonuses and then over to Multi for this months before they become Party.

Ugh. It's a chore all right. Occasional fairish tables and lots of worthless ones. But the bonus is clearing sorta okay. Just tough to make any money from play (had a couple bad beats).

I'm grinding at .15/.30 tables, Its cool /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Once i've cleared ill leave it a few days, play some .50/1 10max then cash out half of my cash.

I recently signed up so yes, i have beginner access.

There are very few full ring tables but plenty of 6 max ones (up to $200 at least). I played there tonight on the $100 NL 6 max ones and there were some terrible players with very high Vp$iP there.

Hurrah!

I just got the email from Empire today (the 14th) that PLAYNOV is available.

It came to late for a reload, and

I have already cleared it and withdrawn.

Way to go, Empire!

I just started on the $100 sign-up bonus at Empire, but I read that they sometimes try to crack down on bonus whores by closing their account if they attain their bonuses and then cash out soon after. Anyone know if this is true?

The empire "bonus bannings" appear to have been a one-time thing. I wouldn't worry about that.

Yes its true. They did that a few month ago. But now that they are shorthanded they might try to keep their customers - but then again - they might not like customers....
