I know the K is an immediate scare card for you, but I think this line is way too passive.

I believe that you need to bet either the flop or turn - maybe about half to 2/3rds of the pot - to get some sense of where you're at. If called, sure, you can shut down barring unimprovement on the next street. But I don't believe that you can have any real feel about whether or not you have the best hand on the river if you don't bet the flop or turn.

K could be just as scary for his AJ, and you won't know if you don't bet.

Just my two cents.

this line is fine. i dont like betting out of position. if you do bet, bet on flop.
