Details below, hope this helps:

• Four or more Players must be dealt into the hand.
• The losing hand must be Four-of-a-Kind - 8’s or better.
• The hand of the winner and loser must include the hole cards and the hand must go to a showdown.
• The hand must have contributed to the jackpot to qualify.

So to answer your question, we have plenty of empirical evidence that the jackpot will occasionally get to well over 500K!

It's possible to buyin for 1big blind to NL games, could you get this fixed. Even the 10bb buyin at normal tables is ridicilous.

players sure are alot looser on bad beat tables than the other ones. they just dont fold hoping to hit bad beat.
