It was a full game online, but we were six handed at the moment, so I figured it could be put in this forum.

I'm the BB with 8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif7 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

UTG raises

Folds back to me and I call

Flop 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif7 /images/graemlins/club.gif9 /images/graemlins/club.gif

I check, he bets, I c'r.......

Spew?

Decent play?

Thoughts on playing the turn?

Mostly though, this flop play.....comments?

Seems standard...

Only real question is whether you should be defending an UTG raise with 87s and that depends on the Opp. I'll usually defend with it though when its only 6 handed.

Thoughts on the turn depends on what his flop action is. If he just calls you lead. If he 3-bets you call and make a decision on the turn based on your opponnent.

Isn't it time for you to go to class or something?

Gimme some explanation.

Looks like blind defense 101 to me...bet the turn.

Right.

The turn came the A /images/graemlins/heart.gif

I checked, and he bet, I called.

A better line here?

The flop checkraise is standard.

If you hadn't just picked up a draw you could bet and fold to a raise, depending on opponent. Against TAG I would check/call turn and check/(fold or raise) the river, against LAG I would check/call and check/(call or raise).

c/c seems appropriate. a c/r here only folds stuff you already beat.

the flop play is completely standard. uhh, you're likely ahead - what else do you want to hear?

I would normally check raise here in this spot as well, but betting out is an option too. I like to mix it up between betting out, check raising, and waiting on turn to check raise, or waiting to see turn card and betting out. A lot of it is player dependent.
