HERO ????

i feel a push is correct here...but i almost dont want to because of 9left and im utg+1....also quick question...is icm and the poker calculator similar to sngpt???....

I don't like this push, 825 to take 250 from the limper and the blinds....you still have 6 players to act as well as the limper, who might have a biggish hand if he has limped utg, or might just be poor....moreso the later these days....
What are you hoping to be ahead of if your called? so many hands dominate you, and you are not desperate enough or even have the position to push, this is surely -ev, unless you know they are all going to fold, which you don't.....KsJs looks pretty, but the best you could hope for it a coinflip if someone with 77/88/99/1010 calls you, but you could be so easily dominated here and you have 8xbb+, so what are you doing pushing this 8 handed utg+1? don't do it

no go. Even if I knew utg would fold I still wouldn't push.

I wouldn't.

I'd rather do it with 65s than with KJs because I'd fear domination here if I'm called.

SnGPT just makes things quick and easy.

I don't push here.

"is icm and the poker calculator similar to sngpt"

Yes you can use ICM & the poker calculator to work out the same things as SNGPT does but SNGPT probably takes 5-10 seconds to enter in the variables and produce a result whereas ICM & the poker calculator would take 30seconds to 1 minutes. SNGPT also has better tournament review features.

Again, I wouldn't.

I did it for whatever reasons. But I do not recommend it. I just said that above to illustrate that KJs is not a strong hand in that situation.

I'm not sure if this is such a good idea. What calling range are you expecting?

66+,ATs+,AJo+ vs KJs 63-37
" " vs 65s 69-31

You are correct. I played a bit with Poker Stove and 65s is outright worse than KJs for sensible calling ranges. Not by much, but still.
