I only have around 10 hands with Villain. Seems like he could be a little loose but I really have no clue at this point. Comments on any street appreciated.

Lose least when behind, win most when ahead.
If you check, he might bluff or bet with a K thinking its best.
And if he does have u beat, hes gonna raise ya, so if u check call u lose less.

I don't think I would have kept my losses shorter by check-calling this hand at the river. I would have simply got to see a likely-more-expensive showdown where I was almost certainly behind.

I like the blocking bet here because I think he's more likely to call it than he is to bluff the river if he doesn't have a hand, but I could be wrong.

ya but what if he bets pot instead of 1/2 pot

i think it depends on the betting tendencies of the opponent .... would he bet pot if checked to here?
