Help me out please OOTiots /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I used to have a Requiem for a Dream animated gif (with the whole injection, blood rushing, pupil dilation broohaha) but I accidentally deleted it. Google just turned up a bunch of dead links when I looked for it. Anybody have it, or know where I might get it? Thank you!

I refuse to help you since pupils should contract, not dilate, and that shows a big difference between Darren Aronofsky and Hubert Selby Jr.

Maybe because Selby actually shot the [censored] while Aronofsky was in film school.

I think that was my point.

I realize that was your point, but I don't think its fair to bust on an otherwise excellent film due to a minor detail which was changed for dramatic effect. Unless you believe that a film about junkies can only be made by somebody who has used heroin. And in that case, I'd point to Trainspotting and this as counterpoints.

I love the movie. I love Aronofsky's work. I think fetishizing heroin use is stupid, not the point of the film, and especially ironic when the selected image is erroneous. Simmer down.

Yes - you rock! I knew OOT wouldn't let me down /images/graemlins/smile.gif

People are also under anesthetic when undergoing ECT, but that wouldn't have been quite so dramatic.

Oh, and refrigerators don't talk. Stupid Aronofsky.

I don't think I was calling Aronofsky stupid...
