I'd be very interested in any comments on my thought process.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx (http://www.zerodivide.cx/converter)

BB ($628.35)
UTG ($733)
MP ($587.10)
Hero ($1122.05)
Button ($247.80)
SB ($836.05)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
2 folds, Hero raises to $15, 1 fold, SB (poster) calls $12, BB calls $9.

Flop: ($45) T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
SB bets $35, BB calls $35, Hero calls $35.

Flop: I could be behind, and if I'm ahead my edge is not that big if someone has a diamond.

Turn: ($150) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $100, SB calls $100, BB calls $100.

Turn: If someone checked a flush, more power to 'em. More likely someone has a single diamond in which case I need to bet.

River: ($450) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $600, SB calls $600, BB folds.

River: I decided to go for a bit of an overbet cos my hand was so strong.

Final Pot: $1650

From a personal standpoint... and this might not be the "correct" play... I have lost so much god damn money flopping huge hands with a 3 flush board.

I have AA with the nut flush draw... flop top set... flop middle set...

I just stay away from these situations. If may be the wrong thing to do .... but my reads always seem off in this specific play.

Sorry to give you advice as a pusssy... but if someone wants to make a move against me on 3 flush flop ... kudos to them.

I bomb flop.
U were the PFR, so you could very easily have AKd, or KKd, here.
I have no problem getting it in on flop.
something like JdT will prolly fold, which is fine.

I raise the flop and don't mind getting it all in. You're not very deep, you have tons of equity even if he has a made flush, and you will get action from plenty of worse hands. And bet full pot on the turn.

Raise more PF.

I don't mind your play on the flop / turn...

but after re-reading... why do you over bet the river?

Do you really think a flush is going to call you all the way down then fold the river?

i think you totally screwed the river and should have value bet vs. over-beat.

You want calls from weak hands... buy why force a small flush to make a crying call and take all your chips.

raise more pre-flop

with a bet from SB and a flat call from BB, im definitely raising the flop

a fourth diamond is terrible for you, make em pay

bet 3/4 to pot on the turn when the blank falls

edit: oh and bicycles, you play like a pussy it seems, plus, hes got a boat on the river

I'm fuccckking retarded... apparently I can't read today.

I think the '92 vintage Padron I smoked last night went straight to my dome.

In that case... sexy over bet on the river

No, what i mean is, hero is worried about any hand with a diamond.
But Hero could easily have a large diamond, something like Jtd or Qjd has difficulty drawing.
Against Kd, you woulda heard on the flop.

I think by reading the post it's pretty obvious sb has an underset or baby flush... I Assume this based on his lead/check/check/ call.

Now... what if you raise the flop and the SB comes over the top for something like $1,000? do you insta-call with top set?

If SB has a baby flush, he plays really bad.

You're very rarely behind, and if you are, you still have a lot of equity.

If you're ahead, your edge is huge.
