This is the last film that Seijun Suzuki made for Nikkatsu. Nikkatsu told him that his film didn't make any sense and they fired him after he had made this film. This is considered by many to be Suzuki's masterpiece. This is a Japanese film from 1967. It's a Japanese ganster film that mixes us genres. It's about the Yakuza's rice-sniffing No.3 killer. He's married and has fantasies about one of his clients. On one of his hit jobs, he blows it and kills an innocent bystander. Now, he's marked for death. This film is a mixture of fantasy, sex, ganster violence, and humor. Don't miss this one. If you have seen any of the other Japanese Yakuza style flicks, this will be at the top of the list of them. This one gets a 10.
