only if it does something weird. they plan for this sort of thing.

turn it off and let it dry for 48h before turning it back on... if you can dismantle it in order to accelerate the drying up process then that's best.

Your keys may be sticky.

But maybe they already were....

Joking aside, dismantle as best as you are possible. Clean out whatever you can. Let dry, turn off. Disconnect promptly if smoke pours out.
