Hey all,

I'm back from my vacation at 5/10 short-handed. I have returned to Party with my tail between my legs and decided to test the waters by 4-tabling the 20s tonight.

I also apologize in advance for the format because I can't find the hand converter or get bison to work.

Here is one interesting hand against some weak-tight donks:

***** Hand History for Game 2995632552 *****

I planned on pushing any card below a ten (preferably non-spade).

Also, please don't just say 'fold pre-flop' without a decent explanation.

I don't like it becuase if they are donks they are likely to call with kinds of junk hands or draws.

I would rather fold preflop and preserve my fold equity so i could still the blinds.

I still don't like it. I hate bluffing in sngs postflop becuase in my experience someone will call with junk. Also becuase you are short they will figure hey i have bottom pair but it is only 300 chips i should call and do so.

I'd wait for a better spot. If you fold you have 7.5 BB and the button. You can find a better spot than this. I'd rather push the next unopened pot with any 2 than push into 3 players on this turn.

I say fold prelop cause your too shortstacked to try and play a suited connector IMO. If you had say 700ish chips then I say go for it. But with 400ish I fold pf.

Fold preflop. You dont wanna play a suited 2-gapper in worst position possible vs 3 other players as a shortstack (arguably as any stack).

Against two MP limpers there's a reasonable chance one of them has a PP or a Q. In either case, you're going to get called a large portion of the time, especially if one of them holds a queen.

Think about it, if they've got like QJ they're going to check on the flop. Then a brick falls and the SB goes all in...well he probably doesn't have a K, cause he would have bet it on the flop, and AQ would have likely raised preflop, so my QJ is good. Less so with TT-88, but it's possible as well. You may also get called by a flush draw sometimes, especially if it's like A5s. Obviously you don't want that.

The above paragraph is why I would play Kx exactly the way you played this hand.
