Even if you think the guy is full of crap, the article is still interesting. At least stay extremely vigilant if you ever get to the $40-$80 level and above.

I'm shocked at how many people on RGP think this guy is 100% full of crap. Kinda like how there were polls that showed that 75% of Americans were in support of the war. Either it's propoganda, or I didn't realize how many Americans/poker players choose to ignore basic facts and logical reasoning.

i watched the video caro taped and it got a little old after an hour or so but was kind of fascinating as well. i do think he's full of sh*t but definitely not 100% and it's clear to me that there is cheating of sorts (usually poorly coordinated simple collusion in the form of flashing cards or even signals, ive seen it myself in mid limits game) in poker today. something all serious players should be very aware of and on guard for.

Hi all,

I have no idea if Georgiev is full of it or not. I am sure there is a lot of cheating going on in Poker, mostly home games, but a lot in casinos too. Thats what tends to happen when a lot of money is available somewhere.

However, I am dead certain, that 99% of it is a lot less effective than people tend to think. Like with everything else, but especially with crimes, it is very hard to get good. Even more so, when you have to do something secret that everyone is looking for.

I certainly do not believe, that there were hundreds of people involved and they all pulled off cheating scams. I do not know of one hundred people I would trust to drive hundred cars coordinated down a straight road under any kind of pressure.

So, I guess the allegations have some truth to them, but I don't see a great threat in every poker game higher than middle limit.

Just my thoughts.
