if the thought villians turn call would mean 2 pair or better, therefore making the river all in a possible play, hero wouldnt have raised the turn in the first place. therefore easy check

Is hero aggressive enough to raise the turn with only a flush draw when giving a decent price in the first place? Eh, not believable.

1. This is NL400. 2. For some weird reason I am getting a vibe that this hand is really posted from duck's perspective. 3. I'm curious why villain in this hand doesn't lead this flop. I probably lead this flop close to 100% of the time as villain. And if I don't lead, I check/raise. But I think leading is far superior. 4. Check the river. 5. Don't raise the turn.

1. Correct, I play 2 600s and 2 400s, sometimes a 1k, and I mix up what's what when I post. 2. Your vibe is wrong. 3. You think villain should be leading with any hand here? 4. I now agree with checking the river. In the actual hand I pushed and villain folded. 5. I like my turn raise. Worse hands will call and I charge draws. When I raise this turn my plan should be to check through the river, though.

Well it all depends on the opponent I guess. But against a good opponent, I think raising the turn just lets them off easy when they are behind/bluffing and kills you when you are behind. It also gets them to stop bluffing. They will often bet again on the river no matter what which will get you more when they are bluffing and lose you less when you are behind.

And yes I like leading this flop with any hand.
