I think the turn raise was good to find out where you stand, 3-bet probably means villain flopped a set of 4's or 6's, or maybe the turn gave him a flush draw (you assume he would've raised TT, AK, AQ PF). I probably call down if 3-bet given the pot size. You have to bet the river for value here when it's checked to you, I'm thinking villain is probably looking at a busted flush draw.

That's a bad reason to bet the river.

I was going to say the same thing. With that said, if the guy likes to donk this turn with a flush draw, you have to bet the river in case he paired up, plus it looks like the other guy is calling down.
But since we don't have a read, I think we're looking at JT a ton of times, in which case I wouldn't raise the turn.
The FSP doesn't really make a whole lot of sense here IMO.

OP - fold the turn to a 3-bet and don't worry about getting bet into on the river when you're deciding whether or not to raise the turn...it happens too infrequently to really even worry about.

against 1 villain i would agree. but against 2 there is a high likelihood that either/both:
a) was drawing and is now busted (no diamond)
b) holds a weaker J or MP that is now paying you off

If the draw hits, we find it harder to bet due to the possibility of being checkraised by either player that has hit the flush and doesnt expect you to slow down.

when the draw misses we can bet out for value, hoping that even if the busted draw folds out, the other player pays us off.

ive kind of confused myself in this response, does it make sense?

1. Yes, I think the raise here is correct.
2. No, I don't fold to a 3-bet. You're pretty much committed to a showdown in a pot this big.
3. If he bets the river I just call.
4. If he checks to you bet it.
