screen config for UB

I've tried to adjust the screen resolution so I can see additional tables with little or no overlap, but when I do this, I get these black margins on either side of the useable screen area.

Any idea how I might fix this??

do you have a crt/tube monitor? it sounds like your geometry settings are off. go to the menus on your actual monitor by pressing the buttons on it and play with the horizontal/vertical size.

while you're at it, make sure your refresh rate is still at least 75hz since you've upped resolutions. if it's not, look forward to some headaches/eye strain.
