River is bet/fold or check/call, depending on your read on the villain. Against an unknown I like bet/fold.

against a decent but not overly agg or tricky player i like a bet/fold here

Why is a bet/fold better than a check/call?

I think a check will induce a bet from a worse hand a significant percentage of the time here (putting you on a missed draw, a K, or a J) and I don't think very many better hands are going to fold to a bet...

I guess there is no value to this river bet bc any hand that calls here prolly has you beat or possibly tied. You made a good point with your post and I think a check/call is the best move.
