pokerroom connection issue

i'm not sure if this is the place to get help, but don't know anywhere else to ask. i play on pokerroom and a couple of weeks ago, i started to be unable to connect to any of the tournaments. i checked the port settings on the router and all the appropriate ports are open. i can still play in the ring games. i can also see the multitable tournaments, but i cannot join them. i can't however connect to the sit and go servers. everything works fine when i connect through my work pc, so i'm thinking it's a setting on my home machine. any suggestions on trouble shooting the issue?
