Villian is rated taz (36/12) with harv's rules but not many hands. Among the hands he has raised pre-flop are 53o and 44.

Preflop: Hero is SB with J/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
<font color="#666666">7 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button caps</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (9 SB) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, Button calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, Hero calls.

Looks like KQ but you can't be sure and I have a redraw to my own straight if Im behind. I was thinking 2-pair is possible as well as an overpair. You just don't know with this guy. Im slowing down and going to showdown.

River: (10.50 BB) 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 12.50 BB

I dig.

(Sometimes I'd bet the flop too.)

Yeah, this looks good. On a side note, what are people doing if that turn is a brick and villain raises? That situation comes up often for me.

I think I would call down if I got raised by villian after a brick hit. I may not even be behind.

Here is one I just had where a brick hit on the turn and I was raised by another taz rated player-

LOL. It doesn't look like KQ unless you have your MUBS glasses on.

Slowing down is fine. You have a weak read and villain capped preflop. You don't want to go nuts just yet.

you beat too many hands here to not 3-bet. show me an AQ9 flop and then i would just call this turn raise.

If these guys are willing to cold call A3, I think we beat exactly the same number of hands in either case.

Edit: I was only thinking about aces up. I guess we don't have to worry about one set on your board, QQ, but we have a straight that's a mild concern for a straight on this one. Your board has Q9 that's more likely though. I guess you're right, but I don't think I'm 3betting this out of fear of aces up.

i'm considering hand ranges for a known "TAZ," which is what he said PT had labeled the guy. of course, we don't know the sample size.

edit: lol @ the results. just looked at them

On the OP the taz player had only, I beleive, 50 hands in PT so not a very good read at all.

Villian had KQs also.

Thanks for the help on my hand, you guys are great.
