BB is 45/1/.2 Very passive and straightforward, doens't bet or raise without the goods. So far my reads on him have been correct.

ummm...no. not in this big pot for 1BB with a possibility of a slowplayed Ace or a donk-paired K.

How many hands against this guy? It's mighty dangerous to fold a 19BB pot for a single bet. I'd need at least 300-400 hands before I'd give the .2 enough credit to fold this, and even then I'm not sure.

there is no way in hell im folding here.
i think you see them playing Ax this way more than enough for it to be worth it.

No.

Pot's too large to fold to such a scare card. Even with the stats you have it wouldn't stop me thinking he was making a grab for the pot. I mean he might of been playing KK weakly given how passive his stats made him.

I'd of been more curious about MP2 to worry about BB.

MP2 has a big A just about 100% of the time.

No foldie. You will cry if you don't see a flush here. It's a costly mistake if you fold the best hand.

It certainly does appear that you will be shown a flush by one (or both) opponents, but it's just one bet going into a pot that is giving you 19-1 odds to call. Are you sure that 18 out of 19 times you're beat here?

I think it is a terrible fold. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Very, very rarely would I fold this, even against loose passives, but I felt that my read on this guy was rock solid based on his playing habits, not stats alone. Turns out I was right although I understand the arguments for not folding this in a 19BB pot.

If he accidently flipped over one of his cards and it was the ace of diamonds I still would have called this river bet.

This makes me sad. If you rely upon reads to make folds like this holding strong hands like this, in big ass pots like this you are making crucial mistakes. My dog would call that bet. It absolutely does not matter that you were "right" because you were NOT right. You were completely wrong. Calling this bet clearly has a positive expectation getting about 20/1. This is a profitable call and you missed it. Results are meaningless here.

Results are worse than meaningless since they often give the wrong feedback. When I read the OPs post, I thought "He could be 'right' 15 times in a row and it still wouldn't be enough to prove that folding was the correct play."

Call and expect MP2 to overcall incorrectly with a big A.
